I have nothing to add to the Acting Attorney-General's report and the Acting Colonial Secretary's letter No.797, both of which were enclosed.
Messrs. Dennys and Co. seem to think there has been undue delay in forwarding their letter, as is shown by the fact of their having informed me that they have sent you a copy direct, but you will see from the documents that I wished to lay the whole question fully before you, and that I was not in a position to do so till it had been completed in the Courts.
